Nurit Michele Graff (Drama 1997) has travelled extensively and has performed all around the world as a freelancer in both singing and dancing, the past 2 years focussing more on her singing career. Nurit is a mezzo soprano and sings mostly pop, rock and blues kind of music. She has done many musical theatre productions as both lead and ensemble.
Her talents have given her the opportunity to perform in a great variety of shows, including 5 Lesbians Eating A Quiche (lead), West Side Story(understudy and lead), Calling Us Home (supporting lead), Tiger Bay, Saturday Night Fever, Robin Hood Babes in the Wood, Peter Pan Pantomime, Rockville – Rock Show (lead), Showboat – Cape Town Opera Company (understudy), Sound of Music, Dirty Dancing, Cinderella Pantomine, Mamma Mia, MSC Cruise Lines (production vocalist), Barnyard Tribute Shows (production vocalist and comedic actress), Tui Magic Life (production vocalist) and several Variety Shows.
Her television and commercial credits include stunt double on the TV series WARRIOR for Pyranha Stunts SA, lead actress for the KIABI fashion shoot, supporting actress SHELL, stunt double on the TV series Dominion for Pyranha Stunts SA, stunt double/belly dancer on Kings and Prophets, assistant choreographer on the TV series of Tutenkamen Cape Town Film Studios and choreographer for Walmart commercial for Germany.
Nurit wrote her own comedy show in 2016 entitled: BRAND SPANKING NU.
She was also the winner of the DURBAN MERCURY AWARD for BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS INA A MUSICAL: West Side Story in the role of Anita in 2013.
In 2018 she was one of the Choreographic Competition Judges at the Waterfront Theatre College’s ever-popular Choreographic Competition, which offers a diverse programme of choreography across a broad range of dancing styles, including Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Tap & Jazz.
